Every child develops differently and sometimes it can be hard to know whether to wait, seek advice or what to do next.
The Early Bird OT provides assessments and consultation packages for children aged 0-6 years, helping families understand their child's strengths, challenges and practical next steps.
Whether you have questions about sensory processing, play skills, fine motor development, independence or school readiness, my aim is to provide clear answers, practical recommendations and support that fits into everyday family life.
Occupational Therapy Assessment - Home
£450
A comprehensive assessment completed within your home.
This option is ideal if your concerns are mainly around everyday skills and how your child manages activities at home.
Common concerns include:

Children can present differently at home and within nursery or preschool. This assessment provides a more complete picture by exploring how your child manages everyday activities across environments.
This option may be particularly helpful if concerns are affecting participation in nursery or school, or if information from more than one setting is needed.

Parent Consultation
30 mins: £30
1 hour: £60
Virtual one to one support to help you better understand your child's occupational therapy needs, particularly when things feel complex or overwhelming.
We will explore your current concerns, consider the functional challenges your child is experiencing, and collaboratively develop practical, individualised strategies that can be embedded into daily routines and adapted over time as your child develops and their needs evolve.

Progress Review
£210
Children grow and change quickly, and new questions often arise. Families who have previously had an assessment with The Early Bird OT are welcome to return for a review appointment.
A review may be helpful if:

New concerns have developed

Previous recommendations need updating

Your child is approaching a new stage, such as starting school

You would like further support following a previous assessment
Includes:
✔ Review appointment (home, nursery or online)
✔ Updated recommendations
✔ Written summary report and action plan
Families are welcome to return for review appointments whenever additional support is needed.

Early Years Consultation

Supporting your child's nursery, preschool or school can help ensure strategies are practical and consistent across environments.
This service may be helpful when nursery staff would benefit from additional advice and support around:
